Marriage on the Jenner
For most couples, the wedding day is the most important day of their lives and should be unforgettable. Of course, the right location is also a key factor here. If you want your wedding to be something very special, we have just the right offer for you. After all, what better backdrop to say “I do” than the breathtakingly beautiful mountains of the Berchtesgaden Alps? A wedding on the Jenner will be unforgettable.
The perfect frame
At over 1,800 m above sea level, we turn the Jenner mountain station into a registry office and give couples in love the opportunity to get married in a special atmosphere, because the Jenneralm’s wedding room (70 m²) offers a fantastic view of the Berchtesgaden Alps. The 2nd floor is a separate area, allowing you to enjoy your wedding day undisturbed.
No wish remains unfulfilled
The JENNERALM offers the perfect ambience for wedding celebrations. Here too, our own rooms are specially designed for atmospheric wedding celebrations. Whether your individual menu of choice or à la carte service: the kitchen team at the JENNERALM leaves no culinary wishes unfulfilled. In addition, our service staff will look after you and your guests with warm hospitality and will be happy to cater to your special wishes.
Wedding organization
The civil wedding ceremony is handled by the municipality of Schönau a. Königssee, which in turn forwards your details to the Berchtesgaden registry office. The bride and groom, the Jennerbahn and the municipality of Schönau a. Königssee always agree on a date together. If you are interested in a civil wedding, please contact the municipality of Schönau am Königssee directly at buergerbuero@koenigssee.com or phone: 08652/9680101. Please note that civil weddings at the Jennerbahn mountain station usually only take place on Tuesdays.
Good to know
- When planning your time, please bear in mind that the ascent and descent with the Jennerbahn takes 20 minutes each.
- Parking is available at the large Königssee parking lot (approx. 200 m from the valley station).
- The Jennerbahn is open all year round. Short revision in April | Longer revision in November.
- We are happy to organize the cable car ride and the perfect catering for your TRAU(M) day. Everything else must be organized independently by the wedding party.
- Appointments for civil weddings can be made via the Schönau am Königssee Citizens’ Office.

Cost overview
The rental fee for the wedding room at the Jenner mountain station is € 500.00 per ceremony plus the costs of the registry office. plus costs of the registry office.
We cordially invite you to your TRAU(M) day. Please pick up your free ticket at the Jennerbahn ticket office at the valley station. All other guests must pay for their ticket. Group tickets are available for groups of 20 or more.
