With a maximum transport capacity of 1600 people per hour and the new spacious 10-seater cabins,
the Jennerbahn is perfect for group trips!
Groups of up to 50 people arrive at the Jennerbahn mountain station with a total time difference of approx. 5 minutes. For groups of up to 100 people, the time difference is around 10 minutes.

Bus parking lot
The bus parking area is located at the large Königssee parking lot approx. 200 meters from the valley station.
Fees for buses:
1 hour: € 10.00
3 hours: € 20.00
Day ticket (valid for 24 hours): 25,00 €
You can let your guests get on and off directly at the valley station on the bus turnaround area.
Gastronomy
Let our kitchen and service team spoil you in the panorama restaurant or on the sun terrace!
The HALBZEIT at the middle station offers the perfect setting for groups of up to 80 people indoors and outdoors. The JENNERALM at the mountain station has 250 indoor seats spread over three parlors. The spacious sun terrace can accommodate 300 people. Groups of up to 50 people can choose from our a la carte menu at any time. We can put together a customized menu for you on request.

Group tour offer Jennerbahn – Berchtesgaden salt mine
Enjoy a double mountain experience: with the Jennerbahn and the Berchtesgaden salt mine.
The combined ticket for group travelers combines a guided tour of the Berchtesgaden salt mine with a cable car ride up to the 1,874 m high Jenner. After you have explored the world of salt 650 m deep in the mountain in the Berchtesgaden salt mine, you then take the Jennerbahn cable car from the valley station at Königssee up to the top. After a comfortable cable car ride, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Berchtesgaden mountains and the Berchtesgaden National Park.
Program suggestion:
10.00 a.m. Guided tour of the Berchtesgaden salt mine
Lunch possible at the Gasthaus Reichenbach directly at the salt mine or in the restaurants JENNERALM or HALBZEIT at the Jennerbahn.
Afterwards ascent with the Jennerbahn (possible at any time, continuous operation) | The ascent and descent takes about 20 minutes each
Please allow about 2 hours for the cable car ride and a short walk to the viewing platform (without lunch).
The program can also be carried out in reverse order.

– Boat trip to St. Bartholomä and back (departure no later than 10:00 am/return no later than 11:45 am).
– Short walk to the Jennerbahn cable car
– Ascent and descent with the Jennerbahn cable car
– Ascent with the Jennerbahn cable car possible at any time – please note the current opening times

– One tour guide receives free rides
– Please note that we need 7 days lead time to complete the booking.
– Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 7 days before the reserved travel date in writing directly to Schifffahrt Königssee.
– Cancellations received at a later date are subject to a cancellation fee of 20% of the invoice amount.
– If there are fewer than 20 people, the price for 20 must still be paid.
– Payment in one amount at the ticket office of Schifffahrt Königssee.

Ticket use and Photocompare
If you want to use the Jennerbahn with your ticket, you must pass through the passage at the lift facilities. To do this, hold the barcode printed on your ticket in the scanner. The barrier then releases the passage. In addition, a reference photo is taken at some turnstiles on first use. This photo is randomly checked by the lift staff on subsequent uses, with a comparison being made each time the turnstile is passed through.
