The ticket office at the valley station is open daily from 8:00 am.
In the summer season, the ticket office is open daily until 17:00.

Catering opening hours:
Jenneralm (mountain station) daily from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
Halbzeit (middle station) daily from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm

 

If you are arriving by car from the A8 highway, please take the Bad Reichenhall exit.

The drive from Berchtesgaden leads along the Königsseerstraße B20 straight ahead to the large Königssee parking lot.

Bus route 841 runs from Bad Reichenhall via
Berchtesgaden main station to the Jennerbahn valley station.

Parking is available at the large Königssee parking lot approx. 200 meters from the valley station.

Tickets can be purchased online and directly at the Jennerbahn.

The ticket office at the valley station opens daily at 8:30 am. In the summer season, the ticket office closes at 17:00. In the winter season, the ticket office is open daily until 16:30.

There is also a ticket machine at all our stations (card payment only). Tickets can also be purchased in the Jennershop at the Jennerbahn mountain station.

Please plan the duration of the cable car ride for a visit to the Jennerbahn!

The ascent and descent to and from the mountain station takes approx. 20 minutes.

The middle station can be reached from the valley and mountain stations in approx. 10 minutes.

Full ascent and descent: One ride from the valley station to the mountain station and back.

Ascent or descent: A ride over two sections of the Jennerbahn. For example: valley station to mountain station or valley station to middle station and back to the valley station.

Half ascent or descent: A ride over one section of the Jennerbahn. For example: valley station to middle station.

We do not grant a discount on tickets for the severely disabled, pensioners or students.

Guest card discount from Bergerlebnis Berchtesgaden and Bad Reichenhall, local discount with residence in Berchtesgadener Land + Salzburger Land | Guest card & local discount only valid for the day ticket up to the mountain station and the entire ascent and descent

With the valley-mountain-valley ticket, you can interrupt your ride at the middle station.
This applies both when starting up and shutting down.

The ascent to the Königsseeblick summit takes approx. 15 – 20 minutes (74 vertical meters).

The opening hours of the JENNERALM and the HALBZEIT are based on the operating hours of the Jennerbahn.

Hot meals daily until 30 min. before closing time.

The newly signposted route starts at the Jennerbahn valley station and leads over a distance of 1.3 km and up to the Jennerbahn middle station.

You still need equipment? Get your DYNAFIT test equipment directly at the Jennerbahn valley station at Sport Renoth.

The Jennerbahn is ideal for group trips (also for larger groups).

With our spacious 10-seater cabins, groups can be transported smoothly to the mountain station. The cable car ride takes approx. 20 minutes. Groups of 50 people arrive at the mountain station with a time difference of 5 minutes. For groups of 100 people, the time difference is around 10 minutes.

The Jennerbahn, the station buildings and the restaurants are barrier-free for people with limited mobility.

Elevators, ramps and ground-level entrances are available.

The cost of transporting bicycles by cable car is € 8.00.
The bike is transported with you in the gondola to the middle station.

Cycling is not permitted on the hiking trails on the Jenner!
The forest road in the direction of Priesbergalm, Gotzenalm and Stahlhaus may be used.

You are welcome to take your dog with you on the Jenner.

Please note that your four-legged friends must be kept on a lead throughout the cable car area and in the National Park.

A dog ticket costs € 9.00.

Baby carriages up to a width
of 80 cm can be transported in the 10-seater cabins without any problems.
The baby carriage is in the gondola with you.
The staff on the platform will be happy to help you load and unload the baby carriage into the gondola.

Please note that you are moving in high alpine terrain and that a baby carriage is therefore inconvenient on some hikes.

Lockers

Individual lockers are available in the valley station. The fee per locker is € 2.00.

Please note that a €2 coin is required.

We are subject to safety regulations that stipulate the maximum wind speed up to which the cable car may operate. If these wind speeds are exceeded, the cable car will only run to the middle station or the cable car operation will be stopped completely.

If the cable car only operates up to the middle station on one day, this applies for the rest of the day.
