The steep, challenging terrain with numerous variants between the mountain and middle station is particularly attractive for freeriders and ski tourers. Experts will find a real deep snow paradise here. You can only ski on natural snow – just like in the early days of the Jennerbahn. When it has snowed enough, you can go skiing or strap on your touring skis!
No slopes are groomed in this area. A ski route is marked in open terrain. Use of the entire area from the mountain to the valley is possible with the winter sports ticket for 42 euros. Opening hours of the groomed slopes and the ski route in open terrain are published on a daily basis.
The area is secured against avalanches. The freeride area is not suitable for beginners
