THE DSV NATIONAL ALPINE SKIING BASE
For over 50 years, the German Ski Association’s (DSV) young talents have been training on the Jenner. The Krautkaser slope in the immediate vicinity of the CJD Christophorus Schools Berchtesgaden, the successful training ground for young winter athletes, is exclusively available to the DSV for training purposes. Only this slope, where stars such as Hilde Gerg, Viktoria Rebensburg and Linus Straßer have already perfected their turns, is still prepared on the Jenner. School and European Cup races regularly take place here. And with a bit of luck, you might even catch a glimpse of the elite of tomorrow.
