Hang gliding
Directly behind the Jennerbahn mountain station is the launch ramp for the Berchtesgaden hang-gliders.
The cable car has its own transport hanger for transporting the kites.
This can be used to transport three kites simultaneously, each up to a length of five meters.
Depending on where the transport hanger is located, there may be a short waiting time.
Since the 2022 summer season, no fee has been charged for the transportation of kites.
Please note the flight regulations of the Berchtesgaden hang-gliders.
Watching allowed!
Join in the excitement… when a kite pilot takes off.
First of all, it goes steeply down the launch ramp before the kite flies up into the sky and picks up speed!
Spectators are welcome, but please keep a generous distance from the start ramp.
Paragliding
The launch site for paragliders is located on the Jenner near the mountain station.

The landing site for paragliders is the Brandnerfeld.
This is located approx. 100 meters from the valley station of the Jennerbahn.
