Promotion valid all year round on days when the cable car is in operation. Exceptions are maintenance periods and short-term closures due to weather or operational reasons.

Nature lovers take note: the employees of the Berchtesgaden National Park will provide information about the flora and fauna of Germany’s only national park in the Alps. How do you tell the difference between an eagle and a bearded vulture, why is it forbidden to pick flowers in the protected area and why do dogs have to stay on a lead?
Through the spotting scope on the terrace of the Jenneralm, you might be lucky enough to spot a chamois, marmot or one of the majestic birds that feel at home in the national park.

Live concert at 1,800 m

The band of the Königssee volunteer fire department will provide musical entertainment.
With a mixture of traditional Bavarian brass band music and lively melodies, the musicians guarantee the best atmosphere!
They play from 11:00 am to 02:00 pm at an impressive 1,800 meters above sea level on the terrace of the Jenneralm!
Look forward to a musical experience, a warm atmosphere and real folk music on the Jenner!
Your visit will be rounded off with delicious selected dishes from our JENNERALM.
On this day our Jennerbahn runs regularly from 09:00 am – 05:00 pm.
A Long Evening to Mark the Solar Eclipse
12 August 2026 | Restaurant Halbzeit | from 5 pm
Experience a summer evening full of special moments under the stars at Jenner.
On 12 August, two extraordinary natural phenomena await you: a partial solar eclipse will bathe the evening sky in a special atmosphere, and once darkness falls, the Perseids offer the best chance of spotting shooting stars.
The Halbzeit Restaurant at the midway station is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the evening. Look forward to delicious food and drinks, a unique mountain backdrop and an unforgettable view of the sky.
Suitable solar eclipse glasses will be available for viewing the partial solar eclipse on the Jenner.
Start of the partial solar eclipse: 7.23 pm
Maximum: 8.16 pm
End: 8.25 pm (sunset on the horizon)
Please note that the cable car runs as normal until 5 pm. Return journey via a short footpath to the Hinterbrand car park.

Jenner PUR – Michelin-starred dining at 1,800 m

On October 18, 2026, the Jenner will become the exclusive setting for an extraordinary fine-dining event: Under the title “Jenner PUR,” Michelin-starred chef Ulrich Heimann, head of the gourmet restaurant PUR at the Kempinski Berchtesgaden, will relocate his culinary operations to 1,800 meters above sea level for a dinner above the clouds.
On this unique evening, award-winning haute cuisine meets the spectacular panorama of Berchtesgaden National Park. Even the ascent is an experience: in modern panoramic gondolas, guests enjoy a champagne aperitif with a view of the Berchtesgaden Alps and the Watzmann.
At the mountain restaurant with its panoramic terrace, Ulrich Heimann showcases his multi-award-winning culinary artistry. The finest ingredients, interpreted in a modern style and executed with the utmost precision. Each course is part of a culinary presentation that combines taste, aesthetics, and emotion, accompanied by a perfectly paired wine selection.

Wine time on the Jenner

Experience an exclusive wine tasting at the restaurant Jenneralm at 1.800 m at the end of the season, let yourself be captivated by our mountain scenery and
enjoy a variety of tastings from our partners (Fruchhaus Faes, La Cantinetta, Kopp’s Vinothek Bad Reichenhall). From 11:00 am to 05:00 pm.
The band U3-Endstation provides the best atmosphere on the mountain with Austropop and evergreens.
Our local cuisine rounds it all off with delicious selected dishes.
59,00 € for wine tasting incl. cable car ride.
Places are limited, tickets are already available from August 1st in advance via our World of vouchers.
If the weather is good, you can still buy tickets at the ticket office at the valley station at short notice!
The cable car runs until 8 p.m. on this day, the last ascent is at 7:40 p.m.
NEW: Every guest will receive their own wine glass free of charge at the ticket office when they collect their ticket.
You can use your glass to sample the various wines throughout the day, as usual.
You can, of course, have your glass washed at the bar at any time.
Are you on a hiking tour and would like to join us? Then you can pay separately for the wine tasting directly at the Jenneralm mountain restaurant.
