Accessibility on the Jenner – the mountain experience for everyone

Accessibility of the station buildings

Making the mountain experience accessible for everyone was one of our main goals when building the new Jennerbahn.
All station buildings, the cable car itself and the restaurants at the middle and mountain stations are barrier-free for people with limited mobility.

You can move around the buildings without barriers – elevators, ramps, disabled toilets (with Euro key) and appropriate parking spaces are available at the Jennerbahn.

Access the sun terraces without any obstacles and enjoy unrestricted views of the Berchtesgaden mountains.

Helpful employees

We can slow down or stop the cable car at any time for people with limited mobility to get on and off.

If you are coming with a group, please let us know in advance so that our staff are ready to help you.

Please note that the wheelchair must have a maximum width of 80 cm in order to fit into the gondola.

Family-friendly facilities

The new facilities on the Jenner are also very convenient for families with larger luggage.
Take your baby carriage or baby carriage into the cabin and enjoy the cable car ride together.
Baby changing rooms are available in all three cable car stations.

Our mountain restaurants JENNERALM and HALBZEIT also offer plenty of space for young and old.

If you have any questions about accessibility on the Jenner, you can contact us at any time. Our team will be happy to help you at any time!

The Jennerbahn is certified for all travelers
