Training at the Jennerbahn and Jenneralm

Our apprenticeships at a glance

Ropeway technician

• Duration of training: 3.5 years
• Additional training as an industrial mechanic possible
• Hallein Vocational Training Center – the only vocational school in Germany & Austria for ropeway technicians
• Practical, varied training – maintaining the lifts, finding & rectifying faults, slopes & snowmaking, communicating with guests

Restaurant specialist or cook

• Duration of training: 3 years
• Design of the guest experience at 1,800 m in our Jenneralm and Halbzeit
• Varied, practical training – advising and looking after guests, serving food and drinks, planning and organizing events, and much more.
• Wide range of further training opportunities – master craftsman course, business administrator, further training to become a sommelier, etc.
